Refund & Cancellation Policy
AL AMEEN ENGINEERING COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS), ERODE provides an online payment facility for the convenience of students, parents, and applicants. By using this facility, the user agrees to the terms and conditions stated below.
1. Refund Policy
The College follows the refund guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Anna University, the Government of Tamil Nadu, and other applicable statutory authorities, as amended from time to time.
- Fees once paid are generally non-refundable and non-transferable, except where refund is permitted under the applicable regulatory guidelines.
- Any approved refund shall be processed only after verification by the College authorities.
- Refunds, wherever applicable, will be credited to the original mode of payment within 15–30 working days, subject to banking procedures.
- In case of duplicate or excess payment, the excess amount will be refunded after due verification.
2. Cancellation Policy
- Online payments made towards admission, tuition fees, examination fees, hostel fees, transport fees, or any other institutional charges cannot ordinarily be cancelled once successfully processed.
- Requests for cancellation, if any, shall be considered only in accordance with the applicable UGC, AICTE, Anna University, Government, and College regulations.
3. Failed or Duplicate Transactions
If the payment gateway experiences server slowdown, session timeout, or any technical issue:
- Before attempting another payment, the user should verify whether the amount has been debited from the bank account.
- If the amount has been debited, the user should not make another payment.
- The user should immediately contact the College Accounts Office with the transaction details for verification.
- AL AMEEN ENGINEERING COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS), ERODE shall verify the payment status and provide appropriate assistance.
The Payment Gateway Service Provider shall not be responsible for duplicate or erroneous payments resulting from repeated payment attempts by the user.
4. Limitation of Liability
The online payment facility is provided solely as a convenience to students and parents. AL AMEEN ENGINEERING COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS), ERODE shall not be liable for:
- Internet connectivity failures
- Banking server issues
- Payment gateway downtime
- Technical interruptions
- Delays caused by banks or payment gateway providers
- Unauthorized access resulting from the user’s negligence
The College shall not be responsible for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of the online payment facility.
5. Payment Information
The user confirms that:
- The debit card, credit card, UPI account, net banking account, or any other payment instrument used belongs to the user or is used with proper authorization.
- All payment information provided is accurate and complete.
- Sufficient balance or credit is available before initiating the transaction.
- The user is solely responsible for the accuracy of payment details entered.
6. Privacy of Personal Information
The College respects the privacy of its users. Personal information collected during online payment is used only for:
- Admission processing
- Student registration
- Fee collection
- Examination-related services
- Academic administration
- Compliance with statutory and legal requirements
Sensitive payment information is securely processed through the authorized Payment Gateway and is not stored by the College. Where required by law, the College may disclose information to regulatory authorities, courts, or law enforcement agencies.
7. Services with Indian Pricing
All payments are accepted only in Indian Rupees (INR ₹). Fees are subject to revision by AL AMEEN ENGINEERING COLLEGE in accordance with applicable regulations.
8. Payment Gateway Disclaimer
The online payment gateway is provided to facilitate secure online fee payments. While every effort is made to ensure uninterrupted service, AL AMEEN ENGINEERING COLLEGE (AUTONOMOUS), ERODE does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the payment gateway and shall not be liable for interruptions caused by third-party banking networks, internet service providers, or payment gateway service providers. Use of the online payment facility is entirely at the user’s own risk.
9. Governing Law
This Policy shall be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from the use of this online payment facility shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Erode, Tamil Nadu.
