The growth of the institution has been well planned to excel and meet the specific needs of the society and growing academic interests of the student community. The Principal is the administrative authority discharging works with the guidance and approval of the college Management and each department independently functions under the guidance of the Heads of the Departments.

The institution has many experienced faculty members who are encouraged with timely promotions and incentives for research. The college has organized 12 International conferences and various seminars/workshops every year. The college received Anna University Research Centre recognition for the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering in the year 2022, enabling PG students to pursue their Ph.D.

A separate Controller of Examinations is functioning in our college campus with all facilities and software packages to conduct the Autonomous End Semester Examinations. The Training and Placement Cell is functioning efficiently in the college premises.

The library houses a rich collection of books for all the subjects with recent publications. There are about 20,285 books, 4513 individual titles, nearly 126 national and international journals and 1739 Journals Back volumes and ample number of digital sources. The library is kept open for 10 hours on weekdays and its services can be availed even on Sundays.

The college has state-of-the-art facilities. Sophisticated laboratories have been provided to each department. Laboratories are well equipped and air-conditioned.

Our campus has an Auditorium with the capacity to accommodate 750 students, A/C seminar hall to accommodate 200 and an A/C Conference Hall for conducting official meetings. The college canteen and hostel mess feature a spacious dining hall, maintained with great care to ensure hygienic food preparation and promote good health. Rainwater & Solar power harvesting system is implemented throughout the campus for sustainable resource management.

The campus provides comprehensive sports facilities for students, including two football fields, a cricket field with one net practice pitch, a volleyball court, ball badminton courts, a handball court, and kabaddi courts. Additionally, there is a multipurpose synthetic basketball court. Indoor recreational halls are also available for carrom, chess, and table tennis (TT).

There are two separate boys’ hostels and one separate girls’ hostel inside the campus, with a total capacity to accommodate 850 students. Recreation facilities and indoor games are available in the hostel. A personalized gym facility is available for both boys and girls, equipped with fully furnished body-building electronic equipment.

The college operates buses in all the directions in and around it, in order to meet the requirements of the day scholar students and staff members. Apart from using all the general facilities, the students gain expertise themselves by involving in the regular curricular, co-curricular and extracurricular activities. Many programmes are organized for the welfare of the students with the help of all the clubs, chapters and working groups with the guidance of the staff coordinators. It invites experts from various parts of the country to enhance the students’ employable skills and communication skills.

The Institution has been accredited by NAAC with “A” Grade and valid up to December 2025. UGC has recognized our Institution with 2(f) Status. After completion of 10th year, our Institution with NAAC “A” grade and UGC 2(f) status applied for Autonomous Status and was successfully awarded by UGC and conferred by Anna University with effect from the academic year 2020-21 for the period of 10 years. We got accredited by NBA for our B.E. ECE and B.E. EEE programs in 2024, extending their validity until 2027.
